Creating Ebooks A Learning Process
By

People say that one the the best ways to making
money is by creating your own Ebook. You're probably whispering under your
breath, "I know, I know, but where do I begin?" Right? You have to
begin at the begin-let me explain.
Brainstorming for your Ebook
Usually when you decide to create an ebook-you do have a idea about what you
want to write about. But sometimes, strange as it may seem, you may not. If that
is the case, I would suggest writing your ideas, experiences and knowledge down on a piece of
paper – then do research to determine what people are looking for
on the net.
However, if you have a website, and it's within a niche market -you may be able
to create an ebook that compliments what you already have knowledge about.
Research
You have a product, an idea, or maybe information you want to share-but will it
have a ready market that will want to reader it? That is where research
will help you.
You can begin your research by going to WordTracker, Overture or Google
and putting some of the keywords into these search tools to see how many times people in the month were looking for what you want to
write about.
In addition, I would do a straight Google search to
see what websites come up. Investigate some of these sites to see if the ebook
you are going to create-gives a different slant on the same topic.
Writing
Once your research is done, it times to begin the process of writing your ebook.
One suggestion, before the actual writing process, it would be wise to down a
quick outline. This keeps you focuses and your ebook on topic. Now, let's create.
You will first create your document
using Word. Minimal formatting is need to start, because you will do not
want to stop the flow of the words until after the first draft. You will find
that you will have several drafts before you are satisfied with your creation.
But once done it will be time to put your document to pdf or exe format.
There are different types of Ebook Creation Tools that you can use, downloadable,
online, free or have to pay. Though you may think free is the way to go, be sure
and look at the fine print. For example, will you have advertisements on each of
your ebook pages if you go for the free version?
Next, you can create an Ebook cover. You can go for the free, which is becoming
rather scarce, or the quality is lacking. The bottom line is that your ebook
cover should look as professional as you can make it. Why? An ebook cover gives
your ebook a finished, professional look, and, it's your marketing tool.
Once you have your ebook completed to your satisfaction, it is time to get it out to the masses.
